State officials warn there could be an uptick in COVID-19 cases tied to President Trump’s rallies in Henderson and Minden. The rally in Henderson was held indoors and violated coronavirus restrictions on masks and gatherings. The city of Henderson fined the Trump campaign 3-thousand-dollars.

Police look for vehicle burglars, credit card fraudsters in Tahoe area

a $500 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in vehicle burglaries and credit card fraud in Placer County. Deputies say three suspects in a white four-door Chevy Cruz burglarized vehicles in North Lake Tahoe. They stole a victim’s credit card, making $3,000 in in charges at the Peppermill and Walmart.

Number of people on UNR’s campus with COVID hits triple digits

The number of students and staff at UNR with COVID-19 surpasses 100 since the start of the fall semester just three weeks ago. UNR says nearly two dozen students living on-campus have tested positive. Seventeen have been quarantined in their own wing in Sierra Hall, where they have meals delivered. Five are recovering at home.
