Washoe County adds two COVID-19 deaths for a total of 167. Both deaths involve men in their 60s with underlying health conditions. The county added 118 cases and as many recoveries. Earlier this week, the county surpassed the 10,000 case mark.

A hunter finds human remains in Plumas County that officials say belong to a man who disappeared in 2018. Police say the skull belonged to Dominic Potts of Greenville, California. Potts went missing in the same area where the skull was found.

An illegal pot ring is shut down in Carson City. Deputies say they seized more than 500 pot plants – that could’ve yielded 850 lbs. of marijuana. They arrested three people – two men and a woman — on drug trafficking charges.
