3 arrested in Minden drug bust

Two adults and a teen from Reno are arrested on drug trafficking charges following a routine traffic stop. Deputies pulled their vehicle over for speeding on Highway 395 in Minden Thursday. Motorcyclist killed in crash identified as Sparks man

We now have the name of a motorcyclist killed in a crash on Pyramid Highway. He is 23-year-old Christopher Hakin of Sparks. Police say Hakin was thrown from his bike after he was hit by a turning SUV. He was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival at Renown.

SnowGlobe Music Festival in Lake Tahoe canceled

The SnowGlobe Music Festival in Lake Tahoe has been canceled amid coronavirus concerns. Organizers say the decision is in the best interest of the health and safety of the community. The electronic music festival, scheduled for late December at Lake Tahoe Community College, was set to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
