Everyone safe after Sun Valley fire

A family and all of their pets are OK after a small fire in Sun Valley. It broke out on Carol Drive Friday night. Everyone and 11 dogs and seven cats made it out safely. No word yet on what sparked the fire.

3 murder suspects wanted in CA arrested after evidence found in Reno

Three murder suspects wanted in California are now behind bars after evidence of their crimes was found in Reno. Police say Michael Griff, Austin Hogan, and Kyle Smith are accused of shooting and killing brothers Jerry and Randy Bonds of Florida. Their bodies were found in a wooded area of Forbestown in northern California.

UNR bans tailgating at Wolf Pack game

When the Wolf Pack opens its season Saturday against Wyoming tailgating will be forbidden. That policy will be in effect through the 2020-2021 athletics season. Also announced Thursday–the school’s winter session will be entirely remote. This spring–study abroad programs are off the table and the fitness center may reopen.
