Washoe County adds two COVID-19 deaths for a total of 625. The latest deaths involve two men in their 80s with underlying health conditions. The county added 85 new cases and 479 recoveries Thursday. Meantime, in Clark County, they’ve identified the seventh case of the UK variant.

A Sun Valley man is arrested in connection with an attack on his girlfriend. Deputies say 22-year-old Imann Nat-Singh victimized his girlfriend for quite some time, hitting her with various objects. He faces felony domestic battery, strangulation, kidnapping, and child abuse charges.
