A salmon farm is coming to Pershing County. West Coast Salmon AS, based in Norway, aims to serve fresh and sustainably raised Atlantic salmon to the West Coast. Their facility off the Cosgrave exit off I-80 would produce up to 50,000 tons of fish and use primarily renewable energy sources.
Nevada’s Department of Health and Human Services is warning that some expected vaccine deliveries may be delayed this week due to severe weather impacting much of the country.
