UNR students to be back on-campus full time in fall
UNR students will head back into the classroom full-time in August. In a letter to the campus community, University President Brian Sandoval says they’re heartened by public health gains in terms of vaccines and as a result are actively planning a full return to campus with more in-person academics, services, and events.
Nevada’s coronavirus positivity rate drops to 6.5%
Washoe County, meantime, adds 47 new COVID-19 cases and 135 recoveries. The county’s active cases have fallen by nearly 175 cases since Saturday. The death toll remains at 649. The state’s coronavirus positivity rate has dropped to 6.5%,
