Four men from Reno are sentenced in connection with a shooting in a southeast Reno park. Investigators say the rival gang shooting in February of last year left three people injured in Miguel Ribera Park. Martin Loredo was sentenced to 14 years after pleading guilty. A Gardnerville man killed in a three-vehicle crash near Zephyr Cove has been identified. He is 52-year-old Rafael Cortez. Cortez was killed in Sunday’s crash along U.S. 50. A passenger in his car which rolled over, also suffered severe injuries.
Douglas County deputies are looking for a woman accused of stealing shoes. Police say she hit the Famous Footwear shop, and hid several pairs of sandals in her purse and walked out without paying last week. She was caught on surveillance video.
