Man sentenced in Lovelock arson

A man gets at least a decade behind bars for starting a fire that destroyed three buildings in downtown Lovelock. Oscar Cruz-Gomez was convicted of three counts of arson in connection with the November 2019 fire that destroyed Pershing’s Pub, a law office, and a bookstore. NV lawmakers push legislative filing deadline

The deadline for Nevada lawmakers to introduce new bills to be considered this legislative session has been postponed. State lawmakers have pushed the deadline to March 22nd. We can expect to see proposals on energy policy initiatives and reforms to the state’s unemployment system.
