Fatal Motorcycle Crash

I-80 westbound was closed near Prater Way exit 16 after a fatal crash involving a motorcycle early this morning. NHP says around 3:30am the motorcyclist hit the barrier wall on the highway but no other vehicles were involved. The driver of the motorcycle has been confirmed dead. Traffic was being diverted to the Prater off-ramp.

Fatal Shooting Saturday in Reno

Sparks firefighters stop forward progress on a fire. They were called to an area east of Vista Boulevard near Los Altos Parkway Thursday afternoon. The fire burned about 10 acres. The cause remains under investigation.

Man arrested in South Lake Tahoe arsons

A man is arrested on arson charges in South Lake Tahoe. Police say Isaac Escalera set a fire on Al Tahoe Boulevard near Murietta Drive and a second fire a quarter mile away on Pioneer Trail. They say they found him hiding in the brush near the scene of the second fire.
