Reno-Sparks Indian Colony institutes COVID-19 curfew

Those living in the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony are under a curfew. From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., residents are under a stay-home order unless they’re essential personnel or need emergency medical treatment. Violators of the curfew face fines and jail time. The entire state is under a stay-at home order.

Nevada Gets Federal Disaster Relief

Gov. Steve Sisolak announced Saturday that the federal government has approved Nevada’s request to declare a major disaster declaration for the state. He said that move will unlock additional federal assistance for residents affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

COVID-19 Cases on the Rise in Nevada

Nevada is reporting 94 new coronavirus cases, pushing the statewide total to 1,836, but the state Health and Human Services Department’s website shows the death toll remaining at 46.
