Reno Police have arrested Philip Cortez in connection with the August shooting of 25 year old Brian Loza-Munoz of Sparks. Cortez faces attempted murder, battery, robbery and weapons counts. Two Dead After Crash On USA Parkway

Nevada Highway Patrol says two people died in a head on crash on USA Parkway Sunday night. KOLO 8 reports one person died on scene, while the other died at the hospital. Grand Plans For Grand Sierra Resort

The Grand Sierra Resort in Reno announced plans to build a $1 billion entertainment district which would include a new arena for the Nevada men’s basketball team.
