Reno Police swarmed a Lemmon Valley apartment complex over the weekend. They say a man, suffering from mental health issues, barricaded himself inside a unit at the Lakes at Lemmon Valley and fired off several shots Saturday night. It took seven hours for him to come out. No one was hurt in the incident.

The Tahoe Daily Tribune reports Ellison has added the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa, and Casino to his holdings. He purchased the waterfront property in Incline Village for $345 million. Three people are hospitalized after a shooting near UNR’s campus. It happened just after midnight on the 1000 block of Nevada Street. Police say the victims are expected to survive; it’s unclear whether any of the people involved are connected to the university. No one’s been arrested yet.
