Gunfire in Reno. Police were called to Hubbard Way, just east of South Virginia Street Thursday in broad daylight, when they received reports that a shot was fired. Officers found a shell casing, but no shooter, and no victim.
Dive teams reach a milestone in their efforts to clean-up Lake Tahoe. The Tahoe Daily-Tribune reports Clean Up Lake Tahoe has cleaned 44 miles of Tahoe shoreline, making their project about 60% complete. Through the process, they’ve removed 21,000 pieces of trash, totaling 18,000 lbs.
