Governor Steve Sisolak has signed the state’s redistricting bills. The bill revises the boundaries of the state’s four Congressional districts, 21 state Senate districts, and 42 state Assembly Districts. A separate bill redraws the boundaries for the Board of Regents. Redistricting happens once a decade based off census data.
One person is dead and another hurt in a crash along Mt. Rose Highway. The crash, above Sky Tavern, closed the roadway in both directions for four hours earlier today.
