On October 9th, 2023, convicted sex offender Josh Powell-Simpson was arrested in Reno, Nevada. While on an unrelated call in the area of Mill Street and Lake Street, law enforcement officers recognized Powell-Simpson as possibly being a wanted subject. Powell-Simpson was arrested and transported to the Washoe County jail where he was also charged with being a Sex Offender failing to register as required. While in jail, Powell-Simpson was charged with Battery by Prisoner and he is currently being held on $50,000 bail.
