The Washoe county school district has returned from spring break and that means the school board is back in session. Tuesday marked a breakthrough on the superintendent search. The board moved to advance 5 candidates as finalists for the superintendent position. Those are going to be announced on Friday. Nothing is known about the candidates until they are announced later this week.
