The Washoe County School Board has hired a private law firm to investigate a former trustee. KOLO-TV reports they voted to hire Gunderson Law Firm to investigate Jacqueline Calvert’s residence. Their review will look into legal issues, including Calvert’s votes, compensation and paid benefits that she received while serving as a trustee, but apparently not living in her district. She ultimately resigned from her seat. The board, this week, appointed Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District public information officer Adam Mayberry to fill out the remainder of Calvert’s term.
