The Caldor Fire grew by less than 500 acres with containment rising to 65 percent over the weekend. The fire that destroyed more than 780 homes and threatened the Lake Tahoe Basin spans nearly 219,000 acres. Firefighters continue efforts to remove dangerous trees so highways can reopen.
