A bear cub that was injured in the Tamarack Fire and escaped from the Lake Tahoe wildlife care center has been sighted. The cub was seen clinging to a tree in the area Thursday. Wildlife officials are optimistic that the bear, nicknamed “Tamarack,” can be rescued a second time.
