As cases of the Delta variant rise in Washoe County, several vaccination events are being held in the area. You can get the vaccine tonight from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lazy 5 Regional Park or Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Boys and Girls Club in Reno. Vaccines will also be available at Reno’s Food Truck Fridays. Health experts say the vaccines do protect against variant strains of the virus.
