A boil water order is in effect for some Douglas County residents due to a major drop in pressure. If your water is supplied through the East Valley Water System, then you’re urged to boil any tape water before usage for at least one minute-or three minutes, if you live in an area of higher altitude. You can also use bottled water for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, and washing dishes.
