The Washoe County School Board has a new member. Trustees selected Joe Rodriguez to fill the District C seat, vacated by Andrew Caudill who resigned. Rodriguez is a veteran of the Nevada National Guard and is employed by the state fire marshal’s office. Trustees must also select a replacement for District D Trustee Kurt Thigpen who resigned for medical reasons in May.
