Homes in Doyle, California, are destroyed as the Beckwourth Complex Fire consumed the community Saturday night. The fire now spans nearly 83,000 acres after growing from 55,000 acres over the weekend. It’s comprised of the Sugar and Dotta fires. The Dotta fire is nearly contained, but the Sugar Fire rages. Properties in Washoe County were threatened for a time with some evacuations in place after the fire jumped U.S. 395. The roadway has since reopened.
