A firefighter suffers minor injuries after battling a fire at a former assisted living facility in northeast Reno. Firefighters were called to the former Reno Valley Assisted Living and Retirement Center on Beech Street late last night. Investigators say the fire likely started in the basement and tore through the entire structure. They’re investigating whether two homeless people found inside the building started the fire.
