Reno firefighters join volunteers from the Washoe County Health District in ensuring the city’s homeless population gets vaccinated against COVID-19. They were down on East Fourth Street outside the CARES emergency shelter Tuesday inoculating high-risk folks who live in congregate settings and don’t have ways to make appointments for vaccination. Reno Fire had 130 doses of the single-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine to administer.
