Nevada’s COVID-19 positivity rate has fallen below 5%. That’s a significant milestone in the state’s battle against COVID-19. The World Health Organization recommends that’s positive tests be below 5% for two weeks before reopening. Nevada’s rate was 4.9% Friday–the first day the state had been below WHO’s goal since June of last year.
Washoe County adds more than 50 new COVId-19 cases Sunday. The county saw now new deaths and 39 recoveries. About 20 people remain hospitalized with the virus.
