Traffic may be down, but deaths on Nevada’s roadways are up 4 percent from this time last year. The state Department of Public Safety says 26 people were killed on Nevada roads last month-nine of them were pedestrians. Six died because they weren’t wearing seatbelts. The report shows impairment and speed were the top causes of death.
