CA lifts all stay-at-home orders, curfews

Stay-at-home orders and curfews have been lifted in all counties in California though hospital capacity still remains grim in some places. Public health officials in that state say they’ll return to county-by-county restrictions with local jurisdictions able to impose stricter rules. Truckee Mayor Anna Klovstad says that Nevada County’s stay-at-home order ended two weeks ago, but she says they’re still recovering. She tells KOLO-TV that being closed during Christmas through New Year’s really hurt the business community. Btu she says it did help COVID cases, noting there was no surge in the region.
