The Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada is suspending its warming center this winter due to COVID-19 and the effects were starting to be felt as temperatures plunged this weekend.KOLO-TV reports the organization can’t keep them open because it doesn’t have enough space to be COVID-complaint. They’re still providing hot meals and sending food trucks to temporary shelters to feed them.
