The Carson City Sheriff’s Office needs your help finding vandals who damaged the welcome sign as you come into the city. They say it happened last month at the sign on Highway 50 East near Flint Road. They say the post that held a solar panel that illuminated the sign was damaged-and the solar panel and battery worth $4,000 were stolen. Secret Witness is offering a reward in the case.
