The Reno City Council on Wednesday is expected to debate whether to impose a new monthly fee on property owners to fund capital improvement projects to deal with stormwater. News 4 reports staff are recommending the council approve a $9.80 per month per residential unit fee that would start in January 2025. The fee for businesses, apartment complexes and commercial properties would be determined based on square footage.
