The Reno Police Department is providing more information on a December 6 officer involved shooting that took place in the 500 block of Colorado River Boulevard and left 34-year-old Caleb Briggs dead. Police say Briggs tried to take an officer’s gun during the incident but the officer retained control of the weapon and shot Briggs, who later died of his injuries.
