The Carson City Sheriff’s Office will check to see if bars and restaurants comply with the “alcohol serving” laws. According to KOLO 8, the department will send out underage decoys to make sure they are properly carded for identification. Authorities say establishments that do card, and do not sell to underage customers will pass the procedure, those that do sell to underage customers will receive a citation.
