A grand re-opening and ribbon cutting for the remodeled Carson City Senior Center will be 11 a.m. Friday in the dining room of the facility located at 911 Beverly Drive. The Nevada Appeal reports approximately $1.4 million in American Rescue Plan Act funding and Carson City capital improvement funding were used for the renovation of the dining room and kitchen area and the lobby and restrooms of the west entrance. A new art collection was also added to the dining room.
