Sierra-at-Tahoe may not reopen their slopes this year. The resort sustained damage from the Caldor Fire with flames destroying a maintenance shop, several trees, and damaging the resort’s chairlift infrastructure. On social media, the resort’s account says they’ve got substantial work ahead of them, and they’re aiming to reopen early next year.
