A little girl from Reno killed in a freak accident in a bounce house two years ago is being honored. Lizzy Hammond was 9 years old when a gusty wind swept up the bounce house she was in, causing her head to hit a power box. Because she was an organ donor-her kidneys and liver went to three other children. As a result, the Reno Gazette-Journal reports Lizzy will be honored for her donation in a Donate Life parade float the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California on New Year’s Day.
