A Salvadoran immigrant accused of killing four people in northern Nevada has pleaded guilty to the murders of two Gardnerville women. Wilber Martinez-Guzman, who was facing separate trials in Washoe and Douglas counties, admitted to killing Connie Koontz and Sophia Renken in 2019. He pleaded guilty last month to the Washoe County murders. In exchange, prosecutors took the death penalty off the table.
