The Reno-Tahoe International Airport has launched a real-time tool to track parking in an effort to alleviate overcrowding ahead of the busy holiday season. On multiple occasions over the last year, the Reno airport has run out of parking due to an influx of travelers after the COVID-19 pandemic. The new feature lives on the airport’s website and shows how many spots are currently available in the surface lot and parking garages. Overflow lots will become available once parking is completely full – look for signage on the airport property. Airport officials urge anyone catching a flight out of RNO to hitch a ride or use a rideshare.
