The Bus Strike Ends

The 23-day RTC bus driver strike has come to an end after both sides were able to reach an agreement Tuesday afternoon, according to RTC’s chairwoman. Neoma Jardon took to Twitter Tuesday saying limited bus service will resume today, and full service on Thursday after two days of negotiations between Keolis and Teamsters 533. The strike started back on September 27 over a dispute about bus driver scheduling. RTC will operate all RTC RIDE, FlexRIDE, and ACCESS services for free for one month through November 19.
