A family of four is temporarily displaced after a fire broke out in a bathroom of their apartment on Ridgeview Drive Thursday night. The Reno Fire Department says an exhaust fan overheated, burned itself through the ceiling of the bathroom and fell onto the ground. It caught a towel on fire but it was contained to the bathroom.
There was damage to the bathroom but the fire did not extend into the rest of the unit or to other units. There were no injuries and no road closures.
