The Caldor Fire is now 100% contained. The fire that burned more than 220,000 acres in the Eldorado National Forest was sparked August 14th and destroyed the town of Grizzly Flats. In total, 800 structures were leveled by the fire. It also forced the evacuation of South Lake Tahoe for the first time in years. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
