Barton Memorial Hospital reopens following evacuation

Barton Memorial Hospital in South Lake Tahoe has reopened after it was forced to evacuate patients to other facilities as the Caldor Fire raged. The emergency department is now open for treatment. Advanced life support services, emergency imaging and lab services are also available.

1 hurt in downtown Reno stabbing

One person is hurt after a stabbing in downtown Reno. It happened Sunday afternoon on City Plaza. Police say one person was hospitalized for treatment, but is expected to survive. A suspect hasn’t been arrested yet.
