Reno man sentenced after burglary conviction

A Reno man is heading to prison for nearly two decades. Christopher Held was found guilty of a burglary in Somersett and an attempted burglary in northwest Reno. He got 17.5 years due to past felony theft convictions.

Woman killed in Yerington crash identified

We now have the name of a woman killed in a crash in Yerington. She is 29-year-oldd Katianne Turner of Wadsworth. Police say Turner’s vehicle rear-ended a truck on Mason Road. Turner and a man were airlifted to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
