Candy Dance returns to Genoa

The Candy Dance is returning to Genoa for the 102nd year. It took last year off-like most events due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The small town gets more than 50% of its budget from this single event that dates back to 1919 when it included a dance and a midnight dinner to raise money for streetlights. As many as 40,000 people are expected to attend over two days. It starts Saturday at 9 a.m.
