Washoe Co. not planning restrictions as COVID cases rise

Washoe County officials aren’t following their own reopening plans as cases of COVID-19 surge. News 4 reports commissioners don’t plan to implement any gathering or social distancing restrictions despite reopening plans passed in May calling for them if cases rise. Their reopening plan called for tougher restrictions if we saw 625 cases per 100,000 people, but we’re now passed 1,000 people.
