Smoke affects more schools, Friday night football

As one school district closes, another opens. Douglas County Schools are closed Friday due to poor air quality after being open most of this week. Incline Village which was closed all week did open its doors for the first time this school year Friday.

Friday night football has also once again been affected by smoke. Bishop Manogue at Bishop Gorman’s game has been canceled along with Wooster at Carson and Denair California at Sparks. The Churchill County-Reed game is also canceled after the team’s coach says they could only practice once this entire week.
