Washoe deputies round up three dozen wayward cattle

Washoe County deputies spent part of their weekend rounding up nearly three dozen cattle. The cows escaped their pasture and made it to Caughlin Park in west Reno. Deputies were able to herd them into their pasture near Eastwood and Mayberry drives.

Arrest made in decades-old Mammoth Lakes killing

An arrest is made in a decades-old killing in Mono County. Sheriff’s deputies handcuffed 47-year-old Diego Hernandez-Antonia of Mammoth Lakes in connection with the killing of then 30-year-old Isabel Bernal of Mexico. Bernal’s remains were found in a shallow grave near Shady Rest Park in Mammoth Lakes in 2003.
