A third dose of COVID-19 vaccine is now available for the immunocompromised in Washoe County. A third dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine is available via a drive-thru clinic at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center. Those who received the single-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine are not yet eligible for a second dose, according to the FDA. Booster shots will be available for others sometime this fall and into the winter.
