Washoe County Schools superintendent submits COVID-19 recommendations for the next school year. Superintendent Dr. Kristen McNeill is recommending face coverings be required indoors for all staff and students in Grade 4 and above regardless of vaccination status. For students in grades 3 and below, face coverings would be optional. Face coverings would be required for students of all ages on school buses. The school board must still approve the plans.
